China cabbage, as the name suggests, originally comes from China. This vegetable needs a lot of attention during the growing process. Growing well is only possible with a constant water supply. This has to do with the fact that the vegetable is very shallowly rooted. China cabbage grows very fast and can be harvested with 8 to 10 weeks.

Origin and availability

We grow our China cabbage mainly in the Netherlands. With the cabbage grown in the Netherlands, we guarantee a stock and supply of China cabbage for a large part of the year. To be able to supply fresh China cabbage in the winter months as well, we also grow the cabbage in parts of Portugal.
