Broccoli

Broccoli is actually a type of cauliflower, but looks a little different. Unlike cauliflower, broccoli is eaten as a closed flower and the stem is also edible.

Origin and availability

We grow our broccoli mainly in the Netherlands. With broccoli grown in the Netherlands, we guarantee a stock and supply of broccoli for a large part of the year. To be able to supply fresh broccoli in the winter months as well, we also grow broccoli in parts of Spain.

Our three top broccoli growers are spread across The Netherlands, allowing us to guarantee the delivery of home-grown broccoli from May through October.

In order to be able to grow and deliver broccoli during the winter months as well, we have broccoli growing locations in the south and north of Spain.
