Zucchini

The zucchini is originally a product from South America. This fruiting vegetable belongs to the cucumber family. The most common colours are green and yellow. The cultivation location of the courgette is very important. A zucchini must grow in a warm place. The plant must also have enough water to grow into a beautiful zucchini.

Our yellow and green zucchini are cultivated in The Netherlands and Spain.

Cultivation calendar zucchini

The Netherlands

Green zucchini is available from March to October. From June to August they are grown outdoors. Yellow zucchini is available from the greenhouse from April to October.

Spain

In order not to be dependent on climatic conditions, in Spain zucchinis are grown from September to May in different regions.
