Cucumber

The cucumber belongs to the cucumber family. The cucumber plant is an annual plant with stems, but they can also be grown horizontally on the ground. Tens of cucumbers can grow on a single stem. Today's cultivated cucumber only has female flowers. The cucumber grows out of these without fertilisation or pollination.
